My junior year was the first year I was actually part of the Tower staff and I loved every second of it. Not only did I love the creativity of Page design, but I appreciated the people I spent time with and the community and atmosphere they formed. I was the only Page Editor to have a Page every single issue throughout the entire school year - I was at deadline every week. Below is just a small sampling of the many pages I worked on over that year. Many of them are feature pages as that is certainly where I could shine the most with the creativity and freedom these pages could provide; however, actors the board, I believe I found unique and engaging ways to display our amazing content to the community.

Senior Year Pages
My senior year was a big change form my first year on staff: I jumped up form Page Editor to Supervising Editor at Large (the lead designer of the whole newspaper). I loved the added responsibilities and influence that came with this position. We implemented helpful design changes such as lining up columns and having a clear style guide. On a personal level, I have been heavily focussed on preparing and sketching my own pages, which helps inspire the Page Editors to do the same. I certainly have made few pages this year, about one every other issue, but I have focused heavily on teaching my skill in design to the Page Editors that I lead. I hope to leave a strong positive impact on the design of the Tower.
